OG corrosion-resistant Air Release/Vacuum Valves are well suited to severe service environments. We offer a wide range of materials, including Super Duplex, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Duplex, 6Mo, Hastelloy ®, Monel®, Vistar®, Inconel® and Aluminium Bronze. These materials give superior protection for seawater service and other harsh service mediums.

Utilising Norsok-approved foundries, we can offer our global customers lower-quantity fast-track MRO requirements and larger-quantity multi-valve project requirements. Extensive material testing and certification are standard for each air valve. 

Air vacuum valves installed in pipeline systems are used to perform either of these three essential functions:

  1. Release accumulated air pockets from pipes during normal system operation
  2. Allow air to enter the pipeline when negative pressure occurs (vacuum protection)
  3. Release large volumes of air when filling the pipeline and allow air entry when draining

Air release valves are designed to release air pockets from pressurised pipelines. They protect against high shock pressure and water hammer in freshwater or seawater pipelines.
